This is us yesterday on our Walkies For Wldlife. We raised $5G through donation and entries; $1G on raffle and $1G donated bandana profits from @lovepupshop!! All for Wildlife Victoria’s bushfire recovery needs. Small Dogs Of Melbourne=Big 💕

One of my all time favourite signs. Grasslands in Moonee Ponds. Filled w seasonal tips for finding wildlife, tips for creating grassland habitat and other stuff. But I mostly love the graphics. Too cute and two thumbs up, Nuttshell!! @nuttshellgraphics

This arrived today. An invitation to opening night of Sue’s latest exhibition—Path to Trees. Aren’t these just compelling works? I love Sue’s vision, colour and skill. And it’s always fun catching up w my old art schoolies. But this year, it’s in Sydney! Aaahhhh, lemme know if any of you are planning to head up there. Barb might. Views of a morning meander through Sherbrook’s Alfred Nichols Gardens. Practically had the place to ourselves. The bright colour comes rhododendrons, flowering trees. Awesome. And check out those tree ferns and Mountain Ash (e. Regnan), tallest flowering tree in the world—(eat humble pie, Giant Redwoods!!). Oh, and look, a dog!!

Archibald Portrait Finalist 2019. A collection of my faves, including the winner: Zen artist. I’m attracted to interesting women, and there were loads in this year’s collection. And I also love mixed media—this year’s fave was the dude surrounded by 3D Tom Civil wannabes #tomcivil !! Talking of which, the best portraits grace our buildings and walls and streets, free for all to enjoy!! Seriously, Archibald needs to get w the times and become a walking exhibition/competition so that street art can be included and the cash shared more equitably.
